Privacy Policy

Effective date: 18 May 2026  ·  Developer: Vincent Mader  ·  vincent.mader@icloud.com

1. Data We Collect

FrameTemp stores all data locally on your device. We do not operate servers or databases that receive your personal data. The following information is stored exclusively in the app's private SQLite database on your device:

2. Location Data

If you grant location permission, FrameTemp stores the GPS coordinates of saved shots on your device to provide location-aware shot labelling. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it using the in-app export feature.

3. Camera Access

FrameTemp requires camera access to measure colour temperature. Camera frames are processed entirely in memory; no images, video, or thumbnails are transmitted off your device or stored anywhere except the optional local thumbnail saved with each shot.

4. Crash Reporting (Sentry)

When the app crashes, an anonymised crash report is sent to Sentry to help us identify and fix bugs. Crash reports may include device type, OS version, app version, and a stack trace. They do not include personally identifiable information, camera images, or location data.

5. In-App Purchases

FrameTemp Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment information. Subscription status is provided to the app by the platform after a successful purchase.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The only third-party service that may receive data is Sentry (crash reporting, see §4 above).

7. Data Retention & Deletion

All app data is deleted when you uninstall FrameTemp. There is no server-side data to delete because we never receive it.

8. Children

FrameTemp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect app changes. The effective date above will be updated accordingly. Continued use of FrameTemp after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
